What I collect

What you send me. When you fill out a contact, quote or tech help form, I receive what you type: usually your name, email, phone number, business name and your message. The website configurator also sends me the options you picked. If you call, text or email me, I have whatever you share that way too.

What I don't collect. This site doesn't use analytics trackers, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or any tool that follows you around the web.

What happens automatically. Like every website, the company that hosts this site processes basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address when a page loads. The configurator saves your font choice in your own browser's storage so your preview stays the same; that never leaves your device.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you, send quotes, do the work you hire me for, send invoices and keep the records a business is required to keep. If you contact me about a project, I may follow up by email, phone or text about that request.

I don't sell, rent or trade your information, and I won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask to be on one.

Services that help run this site

A few trusted services handle information on my behalf: my web host, the form services that deliver your form submissions to my inbox (Web3Forms and Formspree), my email provider (Google), and Google Fonts. If you pay me online, your payment is handled by the payment processor (such as Square, PayPal or Stripe). I never see or store your full card number.

How long I keep it

I keep messages and project records for as long as I need them to do the work and to meet tax and business record requirements. After that, I delete them.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I have about you, unless I'm required to keep it for tax or legal reasons. If you'd rather I stop contacting you, just tell me, or reply STOP to a text, and I will.

Kids

This site is meant for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and I take reasonable steps to protect what you send me. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or card numbers through a form.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top of the page.

Site terms

Prices. Prices on this site are starting prices to help you plan. Your actual price, what's included and the timeline are set in a written quote or agreement before any work begins.

Payments. Project payments are due on the schedule in your signed agreement, usually 2 or 3 payments. Nothing is charged when you send a project request. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and I never see or store your full card number. Local clients can also pay by cash or check. Refunds follow the terms of your signed agreement.

Demo sites. The demo and preview sites show what a design could look like. The businesses, names, phone numbers and details in them are made up, and the photos are licensed stock images.

Guides. The articles on this site are general information from my own experience. They aren't legal, tax or financial advice.

Ownership. The design, writing and code of this website belong to me unless noted otherwise. Client websites I build belong to the client once the project is paid in full, as spelled out in each project agreement.

Other websites. Links to other sites are there for convenience. I'm not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Florida law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Accessibility

I want this site to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards or other assistive technology, and I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. If anything on the site is hard to use, email me or call (904) 310-4371. I'll fix it and get you the information another way in the meantime.
